The Chiltern Gateway Project (A Rocha UK Partner in Action) will again be celebrating ‘Chinnor Goes Wild’ and Environment Weekend in Chinnor, Oxon  starting with an environmentally themed primary school assembly on Friday afternoon.

On Friday the 26th of June you are invited to camp overnight at Whites Field, Chinnor where there will be a BBQ, games, stories and a ‘mini-beast walk’ with David Beattie (A Rocha UK).

On Saturday, following breakfast for those who have camped, there will be a day of activities from 10am to 5pm  with  Adventure Plus, (Another A Rocha UK Partner in Action) and Rock UK. This is likely to include Archery, Circus Skills and Sword Fencing with foils. Other Activities will include Nature Art, Bush Craft and Geo-caching. Available all day there will be tea, coffee, cake and colouring.

Saturday evening will see the scene of action move to a local Church Hall for a wider Church community event including a lecture given by A Rocha UK Conservation Director Andy Lester and David Beattie,  A Rocha UK volunteer and wildlife expert.  (A Flyer for this lecture can be downloaded here)

The weekend will end with Church services at 9.30am in St. Andrews Church of England and 10.30am in Chinnor Community Church. Andy Lester, A Rocha UK Conservation Director, will be the speaker.
