‘A new law to combat the ecological crisis?’ [online webinar]
May 5, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

About this event
The recent IPCC report laid out with chilling clarity how the climate is changing, and how without bold intervention it will only continue to get worse. The Climate and Ecological Emergency bill (CEE) bill sets out a legislative framework for the UK to reduce climate impacts and restore biodiversity, making the clear link between the ecological and climate crises.
But what is the Climate and Ecological Emergency bill (CEE) all about and what can we do to help make it happen?
Join us on Thursday 5 May, 7pm for our next ‘Campaign Takeaway’ event to help you get started on campaigning for nature and the climate. Special guest speaker, Campaign Director for Zero Hour Amy McDonnell will share in detail what the CEE Bill is and how we can use it as a campaigning tool to advocate for climate and nature in the UK. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and take part in a live campaigning moment, in which we will come together and write letters to our MPs asking them to support the CEE bill.
Please register to receive details on how to join our webinar. A reminder email will be sent to all registered attendees the morning of the event.
Booking closes on 4 May at 5pm.
