DESCRIPTION: \nClimate Coalition ecumenical service\, parliamentary lobby and march\nA Rocha UK will be participating in one of the biggest UK climate events of 2015.  This will be a Climate Coalition ecumenical service\, parliamentary lobby and march in Westminster ahead of the climate talks in Paris. \nThe aim is to gather 10\,000 people of faith together to show our solidarity for the planet\, its species/habitats and the poor. \nParticipants will be able to meet with their constituency MPs face-to-face on the embankment outside Westminster to explain why they want Parliament to hold back CO2 emissions and build a cleaner economy.    As a partner in the Climate Coalition\, A Rocha UK will have its own official stall at the Emmanuel Centre. The venue will be a quiet space for people who want to take a break from the mass lobby. \nChurches And Theology Director Dr Ruth Valerio will be leading the service at the Emmanuel Centre and the main speaker will be Bishop of Salisbury Rt Rev Nick Holtam. \nHere are the key timings for the day: \n11-11-45am Assemble with A Rocha UK supporters at the Victoria Tower Gardens \n12-1pm Ecumenical service at the Emmanuel Centre\, Marsham Street \n1-4pm Mass lobby \n4.30-5.30pm Rally – Speak Up Finale and Call to Action \n‘We’d love to see as many there as possible to show that A Rocha UK supporters care. Get to know fellow supporters – and walk to the service together. Look out for a large banner with our blue-and-white logo!’ \nCoaches are being organised from across the country.
