SUMMARY:CRES Day - Can Business Be Green?
DESCRIPTION:CRES (Certificate in Rural and Environmental Studies)\, which is jointly managed by A Rocha UK and The John Ray Initiative\, is holding a one day conference entitled ‘Can Business Be Green?’. \nGuest speakers: Ian Brooks (University of the West of England) and Chet Henderson (Unilever). Ian will speak on “Green Business: Reality or Greenwash? The pressures on business to be dirty” in the morning\, and  Chet will speak after lunch on “Can doing good drive business?” There will be a distinct ethical flavour to the day\, looking at the ethical implications of being a green business. The themes explored will be highly relevant to those on the CRES course\, but could be taken as a stand-alone day for all interested in the environment (and business). \nFor more information and to book your ticket visit: \nhttps://www.cres.org.uk/can-business-be-green-cres-day-17th-november-2018/ \n
